So something I would like to do in 2012 is to run a full marathon. I reserached some local races during the summer and decided to try my best at the Charlevoix Marathon. And I am starting from the beginning, with little physical activity. I am allowing myself about 6 months to train nice and slow, hopefully not to hurt my knees so they will be good on race day.
I got the Garmin GPS Forerunner 205 for Christmas and it is definitely helping with motivation.
12/26 1.83 miles 16:14 I thought it was 2 miles, down to the pavement and back, but clearly it's not.
12/30 3.02 miles 24:36 This was from the church, to the old service drive, down MI ave and back to the church.
And now that we got an elliptical for Christmas, I can cross train too. Heres to 2012!!
